RESOLUTION FOR SALE OF REAL PROPERTY S62 HE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Santa Ana: THAT, WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana is the owner of that certain real property hereinafter described, and WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has no use for said property or any thereof for public purposes, and it is the opinion of the City Council that said property should be sold and conveyed into private ownership in order that the same may again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Aha and in order that the regular development of city streets should be accomplished, and WHEREAS, an offer has been made by Samuel A. Marsden, an unmarried man, to purchase the hereinafter described property and to convey to the City of Santa Ana certain other property for street purposes in payment therefor and to accept certain other consideration for the balance of the purchase price of said property so conveyed to the City of Santa Aha for street purposes, and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to the best advantage of the City of Sant~ Aha that said property be sold and exchanged for certain other property to be conveyed to the City of Santa Ana and that certain additional consideration be paid for said other property to be so conveyed to the City of Santa Ana. The said property so to be sold and exchanged is described as follows: Beginning at a point in the Northeasterly line of Broadway, which point bears North 0° 331 15" East parallel with the East line of the Southeast quarter (SE~) of Seotion 24, Township 5 South, Range l0 West, S.B.B.&.M., a distance of~ 10.56 feet from a point in the South line of the North half (N~) of the South half (S~) of the Southeast quarter (SE~) of the Southeast quarter (SE~) of said Section 24, which bears North 89° 201 37" West, a distance of 83.00 ~eet from the Southeast corner of said North one-half (N~) of the South one-half (S~); running thence from said point of beginning North 0o 33~ 15" East along a line drawn parallel to the East line of said Section2 4, a distance of 127.69 feet to a point in the North line of the South 138.25 feet of said North half (N~) of the South half (S~) of the South- east quarter (SE~) of the Southeast quarter (SE~) of said Section 24; running thence North 89° 20' 37" West along a line drawn parallel to the South line of the above described parcel of land a distance of l0 feet to a point; running thence South 0° 33' 15" West along a line drawn parallel to the East line of said Section 24, a distance of 123.66 feet to a point in the Northeasterly line of Broadway; running thence South 67o 26~ 45" East a distance of 10.78 feet to the point of beginning. NOW, THEREFORE, the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to execute a deed to the property above described to Samuel A. Marsden,i an unmarried man, upon receipt by the City of Santa Ana of a deed to that certain real property constituting an extension of South Broadway Southeasterly from Anahurst Place to South Main Street.
