RES0~UTION .N.0...27V1 RESOLUTION SELLING AND DIRECTING CONVE~ANCE .0.F R.EAL PROPERT~ TO A. M. BLAND!NG~ ET IIX. WHEREAS~ theCity of Santa Aha has acquired from the County Tax Collector of the County of Orange, a deed to the hereinafter describedproperty, and WHEREAS, the Grantee herein has agreed to cause the ~mer of the fee title to said hereinafter described property, pzior to the sale of said property to the State of California, to convey to said City by deed sufficient to clear the record title to said proDerty and'place the title thereto in said City free of all encumbrances ofevery nature, except rights of way, easements, conditions, restrictions and reservations of record, and WHEREAS, the City has been unable to acquire a clear record title to s aid property except by virtue o2 the efforts and considerations put forth by A.M.Blsnding and Corinne E. Blanding who have been instrumental in obtaining quitclaim deeds from the original owners of said p~opert~ snd by so doing have removed a~ possible or apparent cloud against the title to said property and without such aid and assistance and c~siderati~n~ this City would be required to expend considerable money and incur expense in clearing such record title, and WHEREAS, the said record owners have heretofore conveyeds aid property to the City of Santa Ana; NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Santa Aha resolves as follows: That it is the opinion and Judgment of the City Council t~hat the considerati¢ hereinafter referred to for the purchase of the real property hereinafter described is in all respects fair, Just snd adequate, and that the best interests of said City will be served by the execution and delivery of a deed to said pro~.ert~T from the City of Santa Ana, and that the s aid City of Santa Ana has no use for s aid real property so proposed to be sold hereunder, and that it is for the benefit of said City that said property be sold; NOW, ~tEREFOEE, the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Santa Aha are hereby directed to execute and deliver to A.E.DLANDINC~ AND CORINNE E. BLANDING, a deed to that certain re~l property situate in the City of Santa Ana, County of 0range~ State of California, more particularly described as follows, to-wit: Lots Seven (V), Eig~ht (8), Nine (9) and Ten (10) in Block Eighteen (18) of Tract No. 352, in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, as per map thereof recorded in Book 15, pages 15 and 16 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange COunty, Califon~ia, upon receipt by the City of the sum of Twelve Hundred Fifty Dollars ($1280.00) as full consideration for the s aid deed. ~AS.~m AND ADOPTED by tbe City Council of the City of Santa Aha this 18th day of March, 1940.
