RESOLUTION RO,. 2781 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE <br />OF REAL PROPER?Z TO THE COUNTY OF 0R~GE <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF S~ITA ANA: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Orange and the City of Santa Aha are desirous of <br />cooperating for the purpose of obtaining from the State of California and from the <br />Works Progress Administration certain funds with which to construct a State Fair and <br />Exposition Building, <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Sauta AUa are hereby <br />authorized and directed to execute and deliver a lease of certain real property owned <br />by the City. of Santa Ana, being a portion of a certain tract of land assigned to Julian <br />Chavez in the partition of the R~cho Santiago de Santa Aha for the term of 28 years, <br />commencing on the 1st day of April, 1940, at the aunual rate of One ($1.00) Dollar per <br />year, with an option to extend the said lease for an additional period of fifteen (15) <br />years, all' under certain terms and conditions as set forth in the said lea~e, a copy <br />of which lease was filed on April 1st, 1940, and is on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk, and the former proposed lease executed pursuant to Resolution No~ 27V2 is <br />hereby cancelled and annulled. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPT~D by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha this 1st <br />day of April, 1940o <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />E.o Lo Vegely <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br />By: Erma Keeler, Deputy <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE )SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />I, E.
