RESOLUTION OF IN~ENTION TO SELL HEAL PROPERTY BE IT ~ESO~VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF Thee CITY OF SANTA ANA: THAT, WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha is the owner of that certain real property hereinafter described, and WHEREAS, the parcels hereinafter described consist of those certain lots and parcels of l~ud within the City of Santa Aha, which said property has been acquired by the City of Santa Ana by deed, and/or purchase from the owners of the fee title thereto and/or from the County Tax Collector of the County of Orange, State of California, under the provisions of the Statutes of the State of Califoz'nia, in such cases made and provided, and tWHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha has no use for said property or any thereof for public purposes, and it is the opinion of the City Council that said property should be sold and conveyed into private ownership in order that the same may again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Ana, and WHEREAS, offers have been made for the purchase of said parcels by private individuals, and au opportunity has arisen to sell the same into private ownership: NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha does hereby decSare that it intends to and will at a regular meeting of said Council to be held on the 2nd day of August, 19~, sell its right, title and interest in and to said property at the prices here- inafter set forth 1~mediately following the description of said parcels, to the person who has offered in writing to p~chase the s~m- at said price, unless at said meeting the City Council shall receive a bid for said parcel or parcels at least ten per cent (10%) in excess of said bid, in which event said property will b e sold to the highest bidder for cash at said meeting, and the Mayor and City Clerk will h~oupon be directed to make, execute and deliver a Quitclaim deed to such property to the said highest bidder upon receipt of the amount of said bid~
