J2 RESOLUTION OP IN~NTION TO SELL REAL PROPERTY BE IT ~SOL~D BY T~ CI~ C0~CIL 0F T~ CI~ 0F SANTA ANA: T~T, W~REAS, the Ci~ of S~ta ~a is the ow~r of that certain real property hereinafter described, and W~REAS, the parcels hereinafter described consist of certain lots ~d parcels of l~d within the City of Santa Ana, which said property has been acqu~ed by the City of ~anta Ana by deed ~d/or purchase from the o~er of the fee title thereto ~d/or from the County Tax Collector of the Coun~ of 0~ge, State of California ~der the provisions of the Statutes of the State of Cal~ornia, in such cases ~de ~d provided, ~d W~AS, the City of S~ta Aha ~s no use for said property or ~y thereof for public p~poses, ~d it is the opinion of the City Council t~t the said pro~rty be sold and conve2ed into private ownership in order t~t the s~e may againbe placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Ana. ~d ~, an o~er has been ~de for the purc~se of said parcels by private individuals, and ~ oppor~nity has arisen to sell the s~e in~ private ownership: NOW, Ti~F~, the City Council of the City of S~uta Ana does hereby declare that it intends to ~d will at a re~lar meeting of said Co~cil to be held on the 18th day of Au~st, 19~Z, sell said property at the price hereinafter set forth tmediately following the description of said parcel to t~ person who has offered in writing to purc~se the s~e at said price, unless at said meeting the City Council s~ll receive a bid for said parcels at least ten per cent (l~) in excess of said bid, in which event said property will be sold to the highest bidder for cash at said meeting, and the Mayor ~d Ci~ Clerk will t~reupon be directed to ~e, execute ~d deliver a deed to such property to t~ said highest bi.er upon receipt of t~ amount of said bid.
