EESOLUTION NO , RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO SELL REAL PROPERTY BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TE CITY OF SAN~A ANA: THAT, WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana is the owner of that certain real property hereinafter described, and W~HEAS, the parcels hereinafter described consist of those certain lots and parcels of land w~in the City of Santa Aha, which ssi& property has been acquired by the City of Santa Aha by deed, and/or purchase from the owners of the fee title there'to and/or from the County Tax Collector of the County ~f Orange, StaLe of California, under the provisions of the Statutes of the State of California, in such cases made and provided, and WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha has no use for said property or any thereof for public purposes, and it is Council t~t said property should be sold and ownership in order that the same m~y again be of the City of Santa Aha, and the opinion of the City conveyed into private placed u~on the tax rolls W~EHEAS, offers have been made for the purchase of said parcels by private individuals, and an opportunity has arisen to sell the same into private ownership: NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana does hereby declare that it intends to and will at a regular meeting of said Council to be held on the 16th day of August, 19A~, sell its right, title and interest in and to said property at the prices here- inafter set fc~th i~mediately followlug the description of said parcels, to the person who has offered in writing to purchase the same at said price, unless at said meeting the City Council shall receive a bid for said parcel or parcels at least ten per cent (10%) in excess of said bid, in which event said property will be sold to the highest bidder for cash at said meeting, and the Mayor and City Clerk will thereupon he directed to make, execute and deliver a Quitclaim deed to such property to the said highest bidder upon receipt of the amount of said bid~
