RESOLUTION NO. 5275 ~. RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO SELL RFY~ PROPERTY. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE OITT GO.OIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: THAT, WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha is the owner of that certain real property hereinafter described, arid 'W~EAS, the parcels hereinafter described consist of certain lots and parcels of land within the City of Santa And, which said property has been acquired by the City of 8ants And by deed and/or pu~hase from the owner of the fee title thereto and/ct from the County Tax Collector of the County of Orange, State of California, under the provisions of the Statutes of the ~ta~e of California, in such cases made and provided, and NHE~AS, the City of Santa And has no use for said property or any thereof for public purposes, a n~ it is the opinion of the City Council ~hat the said property should be sold and convey%d into private ownership in order that the same may again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa And, and Wu~EAS, an offer has been made for the purchase of enid paroelsby private individuals, and an opportunity has arisen to sell the same into private ownership; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa And does hereby declare that it inteuds te and will at a regular meeting of said Council to be held on the 7th da~ of September, 194~, sell said property at the priee hare~nafter set forth Aw.,ediately following the description of said parcels to the person who has offered in /writing to purchase ~hs same at said price, unless at said meeting the City Council shall receive a bid for said parcels at least ten per cent (10%) in excess of said bid, in which event said proper~y will be sold to the hi~hest bidder for cash at said meeting, and the Ma~ and 0ity Clerk will ~haraupon be directed ~ make, execute and deliver a deed to such property to the said highest bidder upon receipt of the amount of said bid.
