~ IT RE~O~,:~ BY THE CI'l'x COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA AI~A: THAT, WHE~EA~, the City cf Santa Ama is the owner of that certain real property hereiaafter descried, and Wt~REAS, the parcels hereinafter described consist of . certai~ lots and parcels of land within the City of Santa Ama, which said property has bee] acquired by the City of ~a~ta Ann b~ deed a~d/or purchase from the owner of the fee title thereto amd/or fx~m the Cou]ty Tax Collector of the County of 0range, State of California u~der the prcvi~ions of theSt~tutes of the State of California, ia such cases made and provided, amd i~PEEEA~, the City of Santa Aaa has ]o u~e for said property or any thereof for public purposes, aid it is the opinio] of the City Council that the said property be sold aid conveyed iat~ private ownership in order that the same w~y agai] be placed upo] the tax rolls of the City of Santa Ama, a~d WtEEEA~, an offer has bee] made for the purchase of said parcels by private individuals, and am opportunity has arisen to sell the same i]to private ownership: NOW, THEREFOEE, the City Cou]cil of the City of Santa does hereby declare that it intends to a~d will at a regular meeting of said Council to be held on the 20th day of September, 1945, sell said property at the price hereinafter set forth immediately followimg the description of said parcel to the person who has offered ia w~iting to purchase thes_~ at said price, unless at said meeting the City Council shall receive a bid for said parcels at least ten per cent (10%) in excess of said bid, in which ~.ve]t said property will be sold to the highest/bidder for cash at said meeting, and the Mayor amd City Clerk will thereupon be directed to make, execute and deliver a deed to such property to the said highest bidder upon receipt of the amoumt of said bid.
