RESOLUTION NO. ~._~ PuESOLUTION 0P INTENTION TO SELL REAL PROPERTY BE IT RESOLVED BT TRE CITY COUNCIL OF T~E CITY OF SANTA ANA: THAT, WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana is the owner of that certain real ~roperty hereinafter described, and WHEREAS, the parcels hereinafter described consist of certain lots and parcels of land within the City of Santa Aha, which said property has been acquired by the City of Santa Ana by deed and/or purchase from the o~er of thefee title t~reto and/or from the County Tax Collector of the County of Orange, State of California under the provisions of the Statutes of the State of California, in such cases made and provided, and WP~E~EAS, the City of Santa Ana has no use for said property or any thereof for public purposes, and it is the opinion of the City Council that the said property be sold and conveyed into private ownership in order that the same may again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Aha, and WP~REAS, an offer has been made for the purchase of said parcels by ~ivate individuals, and an opportunity has arisen to sell the same into p~ivate owr~rship: NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha does hereby deolare that it intends to and will at a regular meeting of said Council to be held on the 18~h day of October, 1943, sell said property at the price hereinafter set forth immediately following the description of said parcel to the person who has offered in writing to purchase the same at said price, unless at said meeting the City Council sha~l receive a bid for said parcels at least ten per cent (10%~) in excess of said bid, in which event said property will be sold to the highest bidder fen cash at said meeting, and the Mayor and City Clerk will thereupon be directed to make, execute and deliver a deed to such property to the said highest bidder upon receipt of tb~ amount of said bid.
