RESOLUTION 0F INTEI~TION TO SELL REAL PROPERTY BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL 0F Tt~E CITY 0F SANTA ANA: THAT, WREREAS~ the City of Santa Ann is the owner of that certain real property hereinafter described, and WHEREAS~ the parcels hereinafter described consist of certain lots and parcels of land within the City of Santa Ana~ ~ich said property has been acquired by the City of Santa Ann by deed and/or purchase from tho owner of the fee title thereto and/or from the County Tax Collector of the County of 0range~ State of Cslifornia~ under the provisions of the Statutes of the State of California, in such cases made and provided~ and 7~EREAS~ the City of Santa Ann has no use for said property or any thereof for public purposes~ and it is the opinion of the City Council that the said property should be sold and conveyed into private ownership in order that the same may again be placed upon the tax rolls of t~e City of Santa Ana~ and ~REAS~ an offer has been made for the purchase of said parcels by private individuals, and an opportunity has arisen to sell the same into private ownership: NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Ann does hereby declare that it intends to and will, at a regular meeting of said Council to be held on the£%~t day of NoF~mb~r~ 1943~ sell said property at the price hereinafter set forth i~mmediatsly followin% the description of said parcel to the person wloo has offered in writing to purchase the same at said price~ unless st said meeting the City Council shall receive a bid for said parcels at least ten per cent (10~) in ex,ess of said bid~ in which event said property will be sold to the highest bidder for cash at said meeting~ and the Mayor and City Clerk will thereupon be directed to make~ execute an5 deliver a deed to such property to the said highest bidder upon receipt of the amount of said bid.
