CITY COUNCIL 0F TP~ CITY OF SANTA ANA: T~T, %~TEREAS, the City of Santa Aha is the owner of that certain real property hereinafter described, and W~I. REAS, the parcels hereinafter described consist of those certain lots and parcels of land within the City of Santa Ana, which said property has been acqu.~ed by the City of santa Ana by deed~ and/or purchase from the owners of the fee title thereto and/or from the County Tax Collector of the County of 0rang~, State of California, under the provisions of the Statutes of the State of California, im such cases made and provided~ and WHEREAS, the City of ~anta Ana has no use for said property or any thereof for public purposes, and it is the opinion of the City Council that said property should be sold and conveyed into private ownership in order that the same ms~ again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Ana, and WHEREAS, offers have been made for the purchase of said parcels by private individuals, and an opportunity has arisen to sell the same into private ownership; NOW, T-WJ~REFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana does hereby declare that it intends to n~n~. will at a regular meeting of said Council to be held on the ]B~% day of November, 1943, sell its right, title and interest in and to said property at the prices herein- after set forth immediately following the description of said parcels~ to the person who has c~ffered in writing to purchase the same at said price, unless at said meeting the City Council shall receive a bid for said parcel or Parcels at least ten per cent (lO~) in excess of said bid, in which event said property will he sold to the highest bidder for cash at said meeting, and the ~ayor and City Clerk will thereupon be directed to make, execute and deliver a Quitclaim Deed to such the said highest bidder upon receipt of the amount of
