RE$0LU~ION OF INTENTION TO SELL REAI~ PROPER~Y BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CIT~.~ COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: THAT, WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha is the owner of that certain real property hereinafter described, and WHEREAS, the parcels hereinafter desoribed consist of those certain lots and parcels of land wi thin the City of Santa Aha, which. said property has been acquire~ by the City of Santa Aha by deed, and/or purchase from the owners of the fee title thereto and/or from the County Tax Collector of the County of 0range, State of California, under the p~ovisions of the Statutes of the ~tate of California, in such cases made and provided, ~nd V~HEAS, the City of ~anta Aha has no use for said property or any t~reof for public purposes, and it is the opinion of ti~ City Council that said property should be sol~ and conveyed into private ownership in order that t~ s~me may again be placed upon the tax rolls of t~ City of Santa Ana, and W~ER~AS, offers have bee~ made for the purchase of said parcels by private individuals, and an opportunity has arisen to sell the same into private ownership; NOW, T~REFOHE, the Oily Council of the City of San~a Ana does hereby deela~e ~d~at it intends to and will at a regular meeting of sa~d Council to be held on the Sth day of December, l~t~, sell its right, title and interest in and to said property at the prices herein- after set forth immediately following the description of said p~rcels, to the person who has offered in writing to purchase the same at said price, unless at said meeting theCity Council shall receive a bid for said parcel or parcels at least ten per cent (10%) in excess of said bid, in which event said property will be sold to the highest bidder for cash at said meeting, and the Mayor and City Clerk will thereupon be directed to make, execute and deliver a Quitclaim Deed to such property to the said hgihest bidder upon receipt of the amount of said b id.
