RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO SELL REAL PROPERTY BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: THAT, WREREAS, the City of Santa Ana is the owner of that certain real property hereinafter described, and WMEREAS, the parcels hereinafter described consist of certain lots and parcels of land within the City of ~anta Ana, which said property t~s been acquired by the City of Santa gna by' deed and/or purchase from the owner o-'" t he fee title thereto and/or from the County Tax Collector of the County of 0range, State of California under the provisions of the Statutes of the State of California, in such cases ~ade and provided, and WI~EEAS, The City of Santa Aha has no use for s aid property or any thereof for public p~poses, and it is the opinion of the City Council that the said property be sold and conveyed into private ownership in order tha~ the same may again be placed .upon the tax roils of the City of Santa Ana, and WBEREAS, an offer has been made for the purchase of sat~ parcels by private individuals, and an op.portunity has arisen to sell the sam~' into private ownership: NOW, TD~EF[EFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha does hereby declare ttmt it intends to and will at a regular' meeting of said Council to be held on the _~th day of December, 1~3, sell sai~ property at the price hereinafter set fc~th i~nnediately foll~win~ the d~scrlption of said parcel, to the person who has offered in writing to purchase the same at said price, unless at saf~ meeting the City Council shall receive a bid for said parcels at least ten per cent (10%~) in excess of said bid, in which event said property will be sold to the highest bidder for cash at said meeting~ and the Mayor and City Clerk will thereupon be d~ected to make~ execute and ~elive~ a deed to such property to the said highest bidder upon receipt of the mmcun~ of said bid.
