· ~ES0LUTION NO ._~ <br /> RESOLUTION 01~ INTENTION TO SELL REAL P~0PER ~Ty <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CI~Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> THAT, WHEREAS, the City of Sau ta Ana is the owner of that <br /> certain real property hereinafter described, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the p~rcels.hereinafter described consist of those <br /> certain lots and parcels of land within the City of Santa Aha, ~bich <br /> said property has been acquire~ by the City of Santa Aha by deed, <br /> and/or ~urchase from the owners of the fee title thereto and/or from <br /> the County Tax collector of ~he County of 0r~ge, State of California, <br /> under the provisions of the Statutes of the State of California, in <br /> such cases made aud provided, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha has no use for said property <br /> or any thereof for public purposes, and it is the opinion~ of the City <br /> Council that said property should be sold and conveyed into private <br /> ownership in order that the same may again be olaced upon tD~ tax rolls <br /> of the City of Santa Aha, and <br /> <br /> w~REAS, offers have been made fc~ the purchase of said <br /> parcels by private individuals, and'an opportunity has. arisen to sell <br /> the s~m~ into private ownership; <br /> <br />N0~, Tnm~FORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha <br />does hereby de~l~re that it intends to and will at a regular meeting <br />.of said Council to be held on the 20th day of December, 1~, 'sell its <br /> <br /> right, title and interest ~ and to said property at the prices herein- <br /> after set forth immediately following the ~description of said parcels, <br /> to the person who has offered in writing to l~urchase the ~ame at said <br /> price, unless at said meeting the City Council shall receive a bid for~ <br /> said parcel or parcels at least ten per cent (10%) i~ excess of said <br /> bid, in which event said property will be sold to the highest bidder <br /> for ~ ~ said meeting, and the Mayor a nd City Clerk will the reupon <br /> be directed to make, execute and deliver a Quitclaim Deed to such <br /> property to the said hi~hest bidder upon receipt of the amount of <br /> said bid. <br /> <br /> The said property is desmribed as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
