T~ 0ITY 00UNOIL OF THE 0ITY OF S~TA ANA DO ~SOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: Pursuant to provisions of an Act of the Legislature of the Sta~e of California, entitled "An Act Autho~ lzing M~lctpalities to Declare Noxious or Dangerous Weeds Growing upon the S~eets or Sidewalks or Private Property within M~ici- palities to be a Public Nuisance, Creatin~ a Lien upon the Property Fronting upon such Streets or Sidewalks or upon which such Nuisance Exists for the Cost of Abating the Same", approved May 26, 1915, ~d ~en~ents thereto, the City Council of the City of San~a Aha, ~ving acquired Jurisdiction so to do, hereby o~ers ~he S~reet Superintendent of said City to abate the public nuis~ce heretofore declared ~o exist in said City of Santa ~a, t~wit: Weeds which bear seeds of a wingy or downy natu~ and attain such a large gro~h as to become a fire menace when dry and which are noxious and dangerous, growing upon the streets or sidewalks In front of or upon all that private property described In Resolution No. 32~ of the City Council of the City of Santa A~, passed ~d adopted on the 15th day of ~h, 1953, to which resolution reference is he.by ~de for further particular description of said private property. ~$CTION 2: Any property owner s~ll ~ve the right to have ~y of said weeds removed at his cE e~ense, provldi~ the same is done prior to the arrival of the Street Superintendent or his representatives to do the s~e.
