0RA-2-SA-C <br />0RA-174-SA <br /> <br />FREEWAY AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> THIS AGREE~IENT, made and entered into, in duplicate, <br /> <br /> this day of , 1944, by and <br /> <br />between the STATE OF CALIFORNIA, acting by and through the Depart- <br />ment of Public Works, Division of Highways, hereinafter for conven- <br />ience referred to as "the State," and the CITY OF SANTA AMA, <br /> <br />hereinafter for convenience referred to as "the City," <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the California Highway Commission has hereto- <br />fore adopted resolutions declaring the following sections of <br />State Highway Routes 174 and 2 respectively to be a freeway: <br /> <br /> (a) Resolution adopted October 28, 1939 declaring as a <br />freeway, that portion of State Highway Route 17~ in the County <br />of Orange between the point of intersection of said Route 174 <br />with south city boundary of the City of Anaheim, and the point <br />of intersection of said Route 174 with Main Street in the City <br />of Santa Ana, as said Route 174 is shown on general route map <br />adopted by this Commission on October 28, 1939, and filed in the <br />office of the Department of Public Works at Sacramento, <br />California. <br /> <br /> (b) Resolution adopted July 7, 19~3, declaring as a <br />freeway, that portion of State Highway Route 2, in the City of <br />Santa Ana and County of Orange between the point of intersection <br />of said above-mentioned Route 17~ with Main Street, and the point <br />of intersection of said Route 2 with First Street, as said por- <br />tion of Route 2 is shown on the general route map adopted by this <br />Commission on July 7, 1943, and filed in the office of the <br />Department of Public Works at Sacramento, California, and, <br /> <br /> <br />
