1. WHEREAS. the State ef Califernia ~,~Aer Ch~ter 27. Statutes of 19~. <br />(~th Extra Session) has appropriated funds for allotment by the Director of <br />Fiance to provide fin~cial assist~ce to Loc~ ~enciee deffined therein as co~ties. <br />cities or cities ~d co~ties for the pu~ose of defraying not to exeee~ one-half <br />the cost of preparing engineering field surveys, engineering or architectur~ de- <br />si~e, ~ working ~d detailed ~r~ings ~d specifications (hereinafter called <br />"~ane~) required for po~tw~ public works projects described a~ %pacific projects" <br />in said ~t; ~d <br /> <br />2. ~A~, the City of Santa Aaa as contracting city for Section I of the <br />Orange County Joint Outfall Sewer Agreement. hereinafter designated as "Local Agency", <br />desires to apply to tho Director of Finance and/or thePost ~ar Public ~orks Review <br />Board, as the case may be, for an allotment of the Statets share of the estimated <br />cost of preparing the completed plans hereinafter mentioned and there has been pre- <br />pared and presented to this Legislative Body for consideration an application for <br />such purpose; and <br /> <br />3- WHEREAS. Local Agency has provided, er will -e~e available upon approval <br />of the aforementioned application, sufficient funds to prepare the completed plans <br />herein ~entioned; <br /> <br /> WO~, T~el~FORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Local Ageaey submit the aforewaid <br />application to the Director of Finance and/or the Post War Public ¥orks Review <br />Board. as the case may be, requesting allotment of Two~eusand three handred eighty- <br />one dollars and ninety-three cents ($2,3~1.93) being not mere than one-half the cost <br />of preparing said co~pleted plans, or for such amount as ~ay be approved by the <br />Director cf Finance and/or the Post ~ar Public ~orks Review Board (said allot- <br />ment to be used for the purpose of defraying the cost of preparing said completed <br />plans required), for a specific project te be ~ndertaken by local agency and <br />described as Booster Ptuaping Station and Sludge Digestion Tank; <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTIt~R RESOLVED, that the esti~ated cost of preparing such plans <br />is Four Thousand seven hundred sixty-three Dollars and eighty-seven cents ($~.~63.$~) <br />and that Local Agency hms made provision for pa~ving one-half or more of the cost of <br />preparing such plans; <br /> <br /> BE I~ ff~THER RESOL¥~, that for the purposes of this application, <br />~ald M.
