EXHIBIT <br /> <br /> O NANO . //f! <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING <br />A CONTRACT BE~ THE CITY COUNCIL 0F THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA AND THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION, <br />CALIFORNIA STATE EMPLOYEES' RETIRE}~ENT SYSTEM, <br />PROVIDING FOR THE PARTICIPATION OF SAID SUBDIVIS- <br />ION IN SAID STATE EMPLOY.~S' RETIREr~ENT SYSTEM, <br />AND NAKING ITS EMPL0~S MEMBERS OF SAID SYSTEM. <br /> <br />THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1: That a contract is hereby authorized between <br />the City Council of the City of Santa Aha and the Bosmd of Ad- <br />ministration, California State Employees' Retirement System, a <br />copy of said contract being attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" <br />and by such reference made a part hereof as though herein set <br />out in full. <br /> Section 2: In order to meet its obligations under the <br />proposed contract referred to in this ordinance, the City Coun- <br />cil of the City of Santa Ana is authorized and directed to com- <br />ply with all the provisions in the STATE EMPLOM~E.S' RETIREMENT <br />LAW, as now enacted, or as it may hereafter be amended, includ- <br />ing the levy of all necessary taxes as provided in Section <br />20532 of said law. <br /> Section 3: The Mayor of the City ~of Santa Ana is hereby <br /> authorized, empowered and directed to execute said contract for <br /> and on behalf of said Subdivision. <br /> Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect December l, <br /> 1946, and shall, within two months from said date, be published <br /> at least three times in the Santa Aha Daily Register, a news- <br /> paper of general circulation published and circulated in the <br /> <br />City of Santa Aha. <br /> <br /> <br />
