RESOLUTION NO.~770 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ~/~PROVING S~LE OF REAL PRO- <br />PERTY AND DIRECTING THE M~YOR -&ND THE <br />CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A DEED. <br /> <br /> ~AS{EREAS, heretofore on the 7th day of February, 1949, <br />the City Council adopted a Resolution declaring its intention <br />to sell to the highest bidder, certsin re~l property located <br />on the North East corner of 19th and Victoria Streets, in the <br />City of Santa Aha, and set the 7th day of March, 1949 as the <br />day for the opening of bids and when said bids were opened, it <br />was determined that no adequate bid had been made and the City <br />Council, under a right reserved in said Resolution, rejected <br />all bids, and gave further notice of its' intention to sell <br />said property at auction on the 21st day of March, 1949, at <br />which time Victor Charles Silverstein made a bid in the amount <br />of $3,000.00 which the City Council approved a~d accepted; and <br /> <br /> V~EREAS, on the 4th day of Aoril, 1949, by minute order, <br />the Mayor was authorized to sign escrow instructions, and the <br />Mayor and the City Clerk were authorized to affix their signa- <br />tures to s deed conveying said property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor of the <br />City of Santa Aha end the City Clerk are hereby authorized to <br />execute a deed conveying the interest of the City of Santa Ana <br />to Victor Charles Silverstein and Marion Silverstein in that <br />certain property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, <br />State of California, and described as follows: <br /> <br /> Lot 8 and that portion of Lot 9 in Block B of <br /> Goepper's Addition in the City of Santa Aha, <br /> County of Orange, otate of California, as per <br /> mep thereof recorded in Book 28, at page 12, <br /> of ~iscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, <br /> ~alifcrnia, lying East of the East line of the <br /> strip of land $0 feet wide known as Victoria <br /> Drive, condemned by the City of Santa Ane for <br /> street purposes, a certified copy of the final <br /> judgment beirg recorded February 18, 1927, in <br /> Book 13, at page 36~, of 0rficial Eecords, in <br /> the office of the County Recorder of said Orange <br /> County. <br /> <br />-l_ <br /> <br /> <br />
