RESOLUTION NO. 3771 RESOLUTION DECLARING RESULT OF ELECTION HELD APRIL 12, 1949 '~?HEREAS, a general municipal election wes held and conducted in the City of Santa Ana on Tuesday, the 12th day of April, 1949, as re- quired by law; and %~iERE~S, it appears that notice of said election was duly and legally given, that voting precincts were properly established, that election officers were appointed and election supplies furnished, and that in all respects said election was held and conducted and the votes cast thereat received and canvassed, and the returns thereof, made and declared in time, form and manner as required by the general laws of the state governing elections in cities of the fifth and sixth class; and ~UTERE~S, the City Council of said City of Santa kna met at the Council Chamber of the said Council on Tuesday, the 19th day of April, 1949, to csnvass the returns of said election and install the newly elected officers, as a result of which the City Council finds that the number of votes cast, the names of the oersons voted for, and other matters recuired by law, to be as hereinafter stated; NOW, T~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows: That said general municipal election was held end conducted in the City of Santa Aha on Tuesday, the 12th day of April, 1949 as provided for by Section 752, Chapter 6 at 5233 of Deering General Laws, State of California, Statutes of 1883, page 93 es amended, in time, form and manner as required by law, said election being pro- vided for by the Statutes of 1947, Chapter 804; That the voting precincts established for the purpose of hold- ing said election, consisting of a consolidation of the regular election precincts established for holding general state and county elections, were in accordance with the resolution calling said gen- eral municipal election; That the total number of votes cast in said election was 4~7.
