<br />A RESOLUTION 0RDERINGTHE VACATION, ABAND0hR~ENT
<br />AND CLOSING OF FOUR UN-NAMED J~LEYS AND PORTIONS
<br />OF LOWELL, OLIVE, TOWlqER, VANCE, AND W~SHINGTON
<br />AND POINSETTIA STREETS, AS DESCRIBED LN 0RDI-
<br />NANCE OF INTENTION NUMBER 1252.

<br /> WHEREAS, heretofore the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, on
<br />the 18th day of April, 1949, regularly passed and adopted Ordinance Num-
<br />ber 1252, declar{ng its intention to vacate, abandon and close up four
<br />un-~amed alleys and portions of Lowell, Olive, Towner, Vance, ~nd Wash-
<br />ington and Poinsettia Streets, therein and hereinbelow described, which
<br />said Ordinance was~regularly published es required for the publication
<br />of Ordinances; and
<br />
<br /> I~tEREAS, notice of said intention was duly posted, as required by
<br />Section 8322 of the Streets and Highways Code; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, public hearing was regularly held on the 6th day of June,
<br />1949, at the hour of 2:00 P.M., at the Council Chambers in the City Hall
<br />of Santa Ana, California, upon due notice in said Ordinance and said
<br />posted notices contained;
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, A~TER DUE HEARING, BE IT RESOLVED that the City
<br />Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, from all the evidence
<br />submitted, that those certain un-named alleys and portions of streets
<br />hereinbelow described, and as described in Ordinance of Intention here-
<br />inabove referred to, are unnecessary for present or prospec~tive public
<br />street and alley purposes.

<br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
<br />Santa Aha hereby makes its order vacating, abandoning and closing up
<br />for street and alley purposes those certain parcels of real property
<br />being in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California,
<br />and described as follows:
<br />
<br /> Parcel #l: An alley l0 feet in width, lying between Lots 1
<br /> and 2, Block 3, of the French Street Tract, as
<br /> recorded in Book 4, Page 45, ~iscellaneous Maps,
<br /> Records of Orange County, California.
<br />
<br /> Parcel #2: An alley 15 feet wide lying between Lots 36 and
<br /> 37 of the Main Street Tract, a s recorded in Book
<br /> 3 at Page 20 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of
<br /> Orange County, California.
