RESOLUTION NO. 3V96 A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE I~E~TION OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO EXTEND CERTAIN STRAETS WITHIN S~tID CITY AND TO CLAS- SIFY SUCH EXT~DED PORTIONS ~ND POR- TIONS OF OTHER STREETS As STREETS OF MAJOR IMPORTANCE. %R~F~S, heretofore Bristol Street from ~emory Lane to Edinger Street, and Flower Street from Santa Ana Boulevard to Edinger Street have been declared to be streets of major importance; and ~.~ERE~S, the public interest and necessity recuires that said streets be extended to Delhi Road, and that such extensions be classi- fied as Streets of Major Importance; and ~EREAS, increased and changing traffic movement indicate the desirability, and the public interest and necessity require that cer- tain other streets, because of their importance as connecting links be- tween major streets within ssid City or between said City and the State ~nd County Highways, should be classified as Streets of Major Import- ante, NO?J, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Aha hereby finds that public interest and necessity re- quires the extension of Flower Street from Edinger Street to Delhi Road and the extension of Bristol Street from Edinger Street to Delhi Road over that portion of the extension of said Bristol Street which is now within the City of Santa Aha, and the Engineer's Office is here- by authorized and directed to negotiate for the necessary rig~lt of way; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City Council finds that pub- lie necessity end convenience reGuires that Flower Street from Edinger Street to Delhi Road, that Bristol Street from Edinger Street to Delhi Road, that Delhi Road from Bristol Street to the East City Limits, that Chestnut Street from Broadway Street to Lyon Street, ~nd that Santiago
