RESOLUTION NO. 3821 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE 0ITY COUNCIL OF THE 0ITY OF SANTA <br />ANA, PROPOSING TO ANNEX CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA, DESORIBIN$ SAID TERRITORY AND GIFIN$ NOTIOE <br />OF THE TIME AND PLACE OF A PUBLIC HEARING AT ~HICH SAID <br />HEARING ANY PERSON OWNING PROPERTY IN SUCH TEBRITORY MAY <br />A~PEAR AND BHOW CAUSE WHY SAID PROPERTY SHOULD NOT BE <br />ANNEXED. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California <br />as the legislative body of said city, has initiated and does by this <br />Resolution initiate proceedings for the annexation to the 0ity of <br />Santa Ana, California, of all that certain propert~ herein described <br />lying in the County of Orange, State of Oalifornia, contiguous to said <br />city, and that the reasons why said Council desires to annex said <br />territory to said city are as follows= <br /> <br /> That heretofore on July 2lsd, 1949, J. E. Prentice dedicated <br /> <br />as a public park for the use of ~he 0ity of Santa Aha that certain <br />property herein below described which was outside the City Limits of <br />Santa Aha, California. <br /> <br /> NO~ THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the 01~y Council of She City <br /> <br />of Santa Ana, hereby declares its intention to annex all that certain <br />uninhabited territory situated in the County of Orange, Brats of Cal~ornia <br />and contiguous to said city, which said real property is described as <br />follows~ <br /> <br /> All that real property in the County of Orange, State of 0alifornia~ <br />described as follows= <br /> <br /> That portion or'Lot A of the Stafford and Tustin Tract, as shown <br /> <br />on a map recorded in Book 2, at page 618 of Miscellaneous Records of <br /> <br />Los Angeles County, California, bounded and described as follows$ <br /> <br /> B~ginning at the point of intersection of the easterly line of <br /> <br />said Lot A with the southerly line of First Street, and running ~nce <br />Bouth $~ C?~ 30' west along said southerly line of First Street 36~.18 <br />feet; thence south 89 ll' 20~ west along said southerly line of First <br />Street 15.82 feet; thence south ~14~ 50' east, parallel with the <br />easterly line of said Lot A 12~0.75 feet to the northerly line of Main <br />Street; thence north 8~05~ 30~ east along said northerly line of Main <br />Street 379 feet to the easterly line of said Lot A; thence North ~14~ 50# <br /> <br /> <br />
