RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, a muni- cipal corporation of the fifth class, in the County of Orange, State of California, on September 20, 1948 adopted Resolution No. 3701 requesting the County of Orange to grant aid to said City in amount of $40,473.00 out of the County's apportionment of the Cali- fornia Highway Userts Tax Fund, for the improvement of West Seven- teenth Street in said City as per detailed plans, and WHEREAS, said County of Orange thereafter found such improve- ment to be in the general County interest and said request was granted and said work as outlined has been done: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORdERED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Aha hereby finds that the work as proposed for the resurfacing and improvement of West Seventeenth Street, forty ~eet wide as hereinabove referred to has been completed and said work is hereby accepted. That the cost of said work was Thirty-Six Thousand, Four Hundred Eighty-Three Dollars and Six Cents ($36,483.06) and request ~is hereby made to the County of Orange, that the City of Santa Ana be reimbursed in said amount from the grant of Forty Thousand, Four Hundred Seventy-Three Dollars ($40,473.00) made to it by the Board of Supervisors on October 5, 1948. That there is remaining, the sum of Three Thousand, Nine Hundred Eighty-Nine Dollars and Ninety-Four Cents ($3,989.94) from said grant which sm id City hereby requests from the County of Orange to approve for the construction of curb and the surfacing of the shoulder of a part of the same portion of West Seventeenth Street heretofore improved to a width of forty feet; 1. That this improvement is situated as Shown on Exhibit "A" -1-
