RESOLUTION NO. 3956 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING V~tEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to obtain for the City of Santa Ana, the construction of a National Guard Armory; and WHEREAS, the Adjutant General of the State of California has expressed his desire to locate such an Armory in the City of Santa Ana; and ~SHEREAS, negotiations for the leasing of certain property herein described have been completed and a lease dated the 19th day of June, 1950 has been and is approved by the City Council of Santa Aha; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That that certain lease dated the 19th day of June, 1950 whereunder the City of Santa Ana is Lessor and the State of California by and through the Adjutant General is Lessee, is hereby approved, leasing that certain property in the City of Oanta Aha, County of Orange, and State of California, and described as follows: That portion of Lot l, in Bloc~ 2 of "Tract No. 39", as shown on a map recorded in Book 9, Page 37, of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California, lying Southerly of the following described line: Beginning at the Southwest corner of ~lock l, of said Tract No. 39; thence Westerly in a direct line to the Southeast corner of the land described in the deed to Delhi School Dis- trict of Orange County, recorded February 9, 1915, in Book 236, Page 282 of Deeds. Excepting therefrom that portion lying Easterly of a line which is 479 feet Westerly from and parallel to the center line of Halladay Street as shown on a map of said Tract No. 39. Also, all of Block 3 of the said Tract No. 39; and the Mayor and the City Clerk of said City are hereby authorized to execute and submit the said Lease for execution to the State of Cali- fornia. at its ATTEST:~ CITY CLERK PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha regular meeting held on the 19th day of June, 1950. ~YOR ~
