The side lines of said 60 foot strip shall 0e length- ened or shortened as required to intersect with the SDate highway right-of-way line. That the 31st day of July, 1950, at the hour of 7:30 P.~. on said day in the Council ~hambers in the City ~tall, at Third and Hain Streets in the City of oanta ~na is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all persons ~nterested in or objecting to the proposed vacation and abandonment of a portion of a certain unim- proved street right-of~way across land ~elonging to the City of Santa An~ known as the Nisson Property as hereinabove described. The City Council hereby declares its intention to proceed with this vacation of street right-of-way under the provisions of Part 3, ~ivision 9, the ~treets and nigh~ays Code which said ~ct is known as the Street ~acation ~ct of 19~l. That Resolution ~umber 3942 passed and adopted the 5th day of July, 1950 is hereby rescinded and declared void. That the ~treet Superintendent of the City of Santa ~na is hereby ordered and directed to post conspicuously along the lines of that portion of a certain unimproved street right-of-way across land belonging to the City of Santa ~ns known as the Nisson Property, herein proposed to be vacated, notices stating the passage of this Resolution of ±ntention to Vacate and stating the time and place of hearing herein fixed, which said notices shall be posted not less than 15 days prior to the time of hearing herein fixed, and shall not be more than 300 feet apart and at least three of such notices shall be costed along the line of a portion of the said unimproved street right-of-way proposed heresy to be abandoned.
