RESOLUTION NO. 59q9,, <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, <br />AWARDING $4?§, 000 FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />BONDS, 1950, OF SAID CITY TO THE <br />BEST BIDDER AND FIXING THE INTEREST <br />RATES THEREON. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for the opening <br />of bids for the $4?5,000 FIRE DEPARTMENT BONDS, 1960, of the <br />City of Santa Aha, all bids were publicly opened, exmnined and <br />read, and a tabulation thereof has been entered in the minutes; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the bid of the bidder hereinafter named is <br />the highest and best bid made by a responsible bidder for said <br />bonds; <br /> <br /> NOW, ~2IEREFORE, the Council of the City of Santa Aha <br />DOES HEHEBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows: <br /> <br />That the bid of Bank of America~ <br /> <br /> Bection 1. <br /> <br />National Trust and SavinRs Association .. <br /> <br />offering pa~, accrued interest to date of delivery, and a pre- <br /> <br />mium of $ 89.00 for said bonds, Bonds Nos, 1 to 100 , <br /> <br />inclusive, to bear interest at the rate of 1 3/4% ~er annum, <br />payable semiannually, and Bonds Nos. 101 to 400 , both <br />inclusive, to bear interest at the rate of lb % per annum, <br />payable semiannually, and Bonds Nos. 401 to 478 , both <br />inclusive, to bear interest at the rate of 1 3/4 .% per annum, <br />payable semiannually, is the highest and best bid for said <br />bonds. Said bid is hereby accepted and the bonds awarded to <br />said bidder in accordance with the terms of its proposale <br /> <br /> Section 2.
