RESOLUTION NO. 3988 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING EXAMINATIONS TO BE CONDUCTED <br />BY THE STATE I~ER~0NN~L BOARD <br /> <br /> W]~RFJ~, heretofore, the City of Santa Aha has by contract, <br /> obtained the services of the State Personnel Board to conduct ex- <br /> aminations to create eligible lists to fill certain positions in <br /> the City Civil Service; <br /> <br /> NOW, T~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Council of the <br />City of Santa Ama hereby requests the State Personnel Board to <br />prepare and conduct a competitive examination for the position of <br />Personnel Director of the City of Santa Ana, a new position pro- <br />posed hereby to be created; and to prepare and conduct a competitive <br />examination for the position of Recreational Superintendent to fill <br />a vacancy in the City employment w~ich will shortly occur. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the State Personnel Board is <br />requested to ~urnish to the City, suggestions as to prerequisites <br />for said positions, qualifications of applicants, salaries for said <br />positions and all necessary contracts and Aucuments for the proper <br />authorization for said examinations. <br /> <br /> PASSED ANDADOP£~D by the City 0ouncil of the City of <br /> <br />Santa Ann at its adjourned regular meeting held on the 8th day <br /> <br />of September, 1950. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CITY. <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br /> <br />
