RESOLUTION NO. 3989 RESOLUTI0~ AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL VALVE PIT BE~J~EEN TANK NO. i and N0. 2 AS AN ADDITION TO CONTRACT WORK ON THE SITE OF THE PRESENT SEWAGE TREATNEI~T PLANT WHEREAS, heretofore by proper Resolution, the various Cities and Sanitary Districts which are parties signatory to certain Agree- ments covering ownership, maintenance, construction and operation of the facilities known as Orange County Joint 0utfall Sewer authorized the City of Santa Ann to call for bids and award a contract for the construction of a 75 foot digestor unit and certain other works as the same were designed by the Engineering Firm of Koebig & Koebig; and V~iEREAS, it now appears desirable to the proper completion of such works and unit, that an addition be made to the contract work; and ~ArrIEREAS, it appears that Fred J. Early, Jr. Co. Incorporated has agreed and pro$oses to complete such additional work for the sum of One' Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($1,700.00) over and above all other contract prices. NOW, THEREFORE, ~E IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana as contracting City be and the same is hereby authorized and di- rected to enter into a contract with Fred J. Early, Jr. Co. Incor- porated to do and complete at their own proper expense, all work as detailed in Drawing No. l, Koebig & Koebig, dated August 4, 1950 and nominated "Additional Valve Pit between Tank No. i and No. 2" in acc~ordance with its contract plans and specifications for and in consideration of the additional sum of One Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($1,700.00). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the CITY OF SANTA ANA hereby promises and agrees to pay its percentage of total cost of such additional work as such percentage is set out in the joint Agreement and supplements thereto, herein-
