Requested by First Methodist Church. <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 40~1 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CONCERNING PARKING LIMITATIONS <br /> UNDER ORDINANCE NO. 1030 <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF SANTA ANA, AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 3517 of the City Council of <br /> the City of Santa Ana, dated the 6th day of December, 1945, pursuant <br /> to the provisions of the Vehicle Code of the State of California, <br /> and pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 1050 of the City <br /> of Santa Ana, entitled "An Ordinance Regulating the Use of Public <br /> Highways Within said City", adopted April 6, 19~8, the City Council <br /> did declare that the following curb along the public highway in the <br /> City of Santa Ana be painted green and shall bear a legend in white <br /> letters thereon indicating that the maximum time limit for parking <br /> shall be twenty (20) minutes, as provided in Subdivision "F" of <br /> Section 9 of said Ordinance No. 1050, and the City Engineer was <br /> thereby directed to cause said curb to be painted as above described <br /> on the following curb, to-wit: <br /> <br /> SIXTH STREET <br /> <br /> On the North side between Spurgeon and French Streets, <br /> <br /> located as follows: <br /> <br /> The Easterly 41 feet of the Westerly 180 feet. <br /> <br /> AND, it is the desire of the City Council to abandon <br /> <br /> and eliminate that certain twenty-minute parking zone as above <br /> described. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the foregoing <br /> twenty-minute parking zone is hereby eliminated, and the City <br /> Engineer is hereby directed to cause the paint on said curb to be <br /> removed or covered. <br /> <br /> Be it further resolved that pursuant to the provisions <br /> <br /> of the Vehicle Code of the State of California, and pursuant to the <br /> provisions of said Ordinance No. 1050, the following curb along <br /> the public highway in the City of Santa Ana shall be painted yellow <br /> <br /> <br />
