<br />Cnltfomla, does ordain ss follows, to-wit:

<br /> That V~.hereas, the City of S~nta Aaa, Ca]lfor:la, did
<br />on t~e 28th day of December, 1914, by Ordinance elect and
<br />determine to avail itself of the provisions of t~e Act
<br />of the 2vtb day of ~arc~, 1895, and subsequent amendments
<br />thereto relative to the assessment and collection of
<br />taxes for the municipal corporation of the City of Santa
<br />Aaa, Calffo~is, and did in accordance therewith on or
<br />about said date file with the Auditor of Orange County,
<br />California, a verified copy of s~id Ordinance pertaining
<br />thereto ss provided by law;

<br /> And Whereas, the County' Auditor of the County of
<br />Orange, State of C~llfornia, on the Vth day of Angst,
<br />1922, filed ~is statement In writing with the Board of
<br />~ustees of ~,e City of Snnta Ana, California, ~ owing
<br />the total value of all ~ooerty within the corporate
<br />year 1922-23 as equalized and collected by the Board of
<br />Suoervfsors of Orange County, California, ~nd fixed the
<br />sum as shown by the assessment rolls for s~id year st
<br />$12,282,V65 exclusive of operative property, and whereas
<br />the amount of money ascertained and fixed to carry on
<br />various departments of the City of Santa Aaa, and to
<br />pay t~e bonded indebtedness fallln~ due for the current
<br />year 1922-23 is the fixed S~ of ~08,808.00, and whereas,
<br />s~id sum is to be ap~ortioned among the variousdepartments
<br />of the said City of ~nta Ana, sud placed in the general
<br />and special funds to pay current munic!~al expenses on
<br />the assessed value of all the real a~ p~rsona] proDerty
<br />within such municipality over and above the several ~ms
<br />to be raised as provided by law.

<br /> Section 1. ~at t~ total wluatton of the taxable
<br />property of the City of Santa Aaa of $12,282,V65 shall be
<br />nsed as ~ basis for the levy of the taxes of the City of
<br />S~nts Ana, C~]ifornta, a~ t~e County of Orange, State of
<br />Csllfo~la, at the s~me time and tn the same ma~er county
<br />levies ~re made a~ collected.
