the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, d~ly end reg~ larly p~ssed ~ts Ordinance of Intention No. 755, declaring the intention of sa~ Board of Trustees to o~der the opening of North Sycamore ~treet between the North llne of Washingtor Avenue and the Southe line of Fifteenth Street, excepting therefrom that portion shown as now being opened and dedica- ted on n~ep of Swanner's Add., as per map thereof recorded in Book $, pages 5 ~nd 6, of Miscellsneous Naps, Records of Orange County, C~l~fornla, all as is more particularly shown by reference to said Ordinance of Intention No. 755; and WHEREAS, said Ordinance was duly published accord- ing to law: and whereas, Notices of Public Work were chly posted according to law and as ordered by Ordinance of Inten- tion No. V55, by t~e Street Superintendent of said City as ~opegrs by the affidavit of said Street Superintmndeut. WHERF~S, said Street buperintendent caused a notice similar in substance to the notices so posted to be published by two (2) Insertlo~s in the Sants Aha Daily Evening Re~lete~ a daily newspaper printed, published snd circulated in said City of Santa Ann, which newspaper was designated by said Board of Trustees for~that PurPose, all in accordance w~h and as required by law; and ~HEREAS, the City Clerk mailed postal cards in the manner and form required and dlre~ted by Ordinance of Inten- tion No. 755, and by the Street Opening Act of 190Z; and whereas, ~t the time and piece set for portest, said City Clerk advised the Boord of Trustees that there were no pro- tests against tbs said improvement; and the said Board of Trustees so found the fact to be and by their Re~ lution de- clared that there were no protests; and where~s, the time within which protests might be filed against said ~mprovement had expired; NOW THEREFOP~E, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana do ordain as follows: SECTION I. That the Board of Trustees of the City of S~nta Ane hereby orders the said improvement, to-wit, the extending and opening as extended of Sycamore Street in said City from the North line of ~ashington Avenue to the South line of Fifteenth Street, excepting therefrom thst portion of street already dedicated as ~ public thoroughfare, all as set forth and in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance NO. 755 of s~id City. SECTION II. Said Board of Trustees hereby directs ~n action to be brought by the City Attorney of s~id City of S~nta Aha in the proper court, to-wit, the Superior Court of the County of Orange, State of C~]ifor~la, in the name of th~ municipality, to-wit, the City of Santa Aha, for the ~ndemna tion of the property necessary or convenient to be taken for
