That any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $500.00 or by imprisonment in the County Jail of the County of Orange, for a period of not more than six (6) months, or by both such fin~ and imprisonment. Each such ~rson, firm er corporation shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for each day during any portion of which any violation of this ordinance shall be permitted, continued or con~nitted by such person, firm or corporation, and shall be punishable therefor as prov~ by this c~dinance. Section S. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause the same to be published three (3) times in the Santa Aha Daily Evening Register, a dai~y newspaper printed, published and generally circulated in the City of Santa Ana, and the same shall take effect and be in force thirty (30) days from the date of its final passage.
