0aDEANCE <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF ~HE CITY 0F SANTA ANA, ESTABLISH- <br /> ING SET-BACK LINES UPON NORTH FLOWER STREET. ON <br /> BOTH SIDES OF SAID STREET, FROM THE NORTH L~NE OF <br /> TRACT NO. 748 TO THE SOUTH LINE OF SANTA CLARA <br /> AVENUE IF EXTEND~) WESTERLY. <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Santa Aha do ordain as follows: <br /> Section 1. That the public interest and convenience requires, and <br /> there is hereby established set-back lines upon the following street in the City <br /> of Santa Aha, California, between which and the respective street lines of said <br /> street it stmll be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to erect any <br /> building, wall, fence or other structure, or place any structure thereon, to-wit: <br /> <br /> North Flower Street, on both sides of said street, from the North line <br /> of Tract No. 748 to the South line of Santa Clara Avenue if extended Westerly~ <br /> forty (40) feet outside of the present East and West lines reapectively of said <br /> street. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the foregoing set-back lines are established after a <br /> Resolution of Intention was duly passed and adopted and a hearing held thereon, <br /> after notice by publication and posting in the manner prescribed by Ordinance No. <br /> 813 of the City of Santa Aha, entitled, "An Ordinance Prescribing the Method of <br /> Procedure for Establishing Set-Back Lines in the City of Santa Ana", and the City <br /> Council having heard and passed upon alS protests or objections filed or made to <br /> the establishment of said set-back lin~s. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the Building Inspector of the City of Santa Ana shall <br />refuse to issue an~ permit for any building, wall, fence or other structure <br />proposed to be erected within the space between the present street lines of the <br />above mentioned street and the set-back lines established by this Ordinance. <br /> <br /> Section 4. That any person, firm or corporation violating any of the pre <br />visions of this erdinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon.convict- <br />ion thereof shall be punished by a fine of not more than Five Hundred Dollars <br />($§00.00), or by imprisonment in the County Jail of the County of Orange, fo~ a <br />period of net more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. <br /> <br />Each such person, firm or corporation shall be deemed guilty oS a separate offense <br />for each day during any portion of which any v~lation of this Ordinance shall be <br />permitted, continued or committed by such person, firm or corporation~ and shall be <br />punishable therefor as provided by this Ordinance. <br /> <br /> Section ~. T~at the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this <br />Ordinance and cause the same to be published three times in the Santa Ana Daily <br />Evening Register, a daily newspaper printed, published and generally circulated in <br />the City of Santa A~a, and the same shall take effect and be in force thirty (~0) <br />days from the date of its final passage. <br /> <br />The foregoing Ordinance is signed and approved by me this 25th day of <br /> <br />November, 1929. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> E.
