AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING SECTION 6 OF CITY ORDINANCE <br />No. 1262 ENTITleD, "AN ORDINANCE OF <br />THE C-~ SANTA ANA REGULATING PARK- <br />ING AND TRAFFIC NOVEMENTS ON MUNICI- <br />PALLY OWNED PARKING LOTS". <br /> <br />THE COUNCILOF THE CITY OF SANTA ANAD0 0RDAINASFOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That Section 6 of City Ordinance Number. 1262 <br />entitled, "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA REGULATING PARKING <br />AND TRAFFIC NOVEMENTS ON MUNICIPALLY OWNED PARKING LOTS" be and the <br />same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "SECTION 6: Every person parking any vehicle on any <br /> municipally owned parking lot open to the public and <br /> regulated by parking meters, shall immediately depo- <br /> sit in the meter in front of and regulating the park- <br /> ing stall occupied by such vehicle, United States <br /> coins of the value or kind indicated on said meter, <br /> for the period of time he desires to use said perking <br /> stall. When the meter provides coin slots for five <br /> cent coins and ten cent coins only, then such person <br /> shall deposit five cents ($0.05) for each two hours <br /> and/or ten cents ($0.10) for each four hours during <br /> which he desires to use said stall, for the privi- <br /> lege of parking such meter vehicle. When the meter <br /> provides coin slots for the use of dimes, (10¢ pieces), <br /> quarters, (25~ pieces), and indicates that the meter <br /> charge is ten cents for the first 3 hours of par~ing <br /> time, or twenty-five cents for 10 hours of parking <br /> time, he shall immediately deposit United States <br /> coins of the value Ludicated, for the time during which <br /> he desires to use such parking stall for the parking of <br /> such vehicle. If the parking meter affords an option <br /> as to coSbinations of coins-to be deposited therein, <br /> there shell immediately be deposited in such meter, a <br /> <br /> <br />
