ORDINANCE NO. 1308 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CITY ORDINANCE NUMBER 792 <br /> <br /> ~ANA <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA/DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section l: That Paragraph numbered i of Section 3 of City <br />Ordinance Number 792 entitled A~N0d~INANCE OF THE OITY OF SANTA ANA, <br />REGULATING THE MOVING OF BUILDINGS THROUGH OR UPON PUBLIC STREETS, <br />ALLEYS, LANES AND 0THOR PUBLIC PLACES; PROVIDING FOR A BOND TO BE <br />FILED AND PERMIT ISSUED; REQUIRING THE PROTECTION OF ALL EQUI~T <br />BELONGING TO PUBLIC UTILITY CORPORATIONS AND RAILROADS AND PROVIDING <br />A PENALTY FOR THE BREACH OF ANY OF THE TERMS TEEREOF", be and the same <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "l. No building shall be moved, the highest point of <br /> <br /> which at any time during operation of moving, extends to a <br /> height, of more than twenty-five feet above the surface of <br /> the street unless a request to move such building, stating <br /> the over-all height thereof and the route upon the streets <br /> of the City over which it will be moved, shall first have been <br /> filed with the City Council and the Oity Council, after a re- <br /> port from the Building Inspector, the Par~ Superintendent, and <br /> the Street Superintendent, shall grant special permission for <br /> such moving by Minute Order. Such ~inute Order may be made and con- <br /> ~l~l&ha~ upon the subsequent approval of one or more of the <br /> City employees and officials from whom a report is herein re- <br /> quired. The requirements set forth in this paragraph are in <br /> addition to and ~ot in lieu of amy other requirements contained <br /> in this Ordinance, Ordinance Number 1179 or any other Ordinances <br /> of the City or amendments thereto, ~overning the moving of <br /> buildings or structures upon the streets of this City." <br /> <br /> Section 2: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict <br /> herewith are hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 3: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of <br /> <br /> <br />
