Yliana Ortega <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEWER <br />Yliana works to assist cities and counties with planning for their future <br />through preparation of technically sound and legally defensible analyses and <br />environmental impact assessment documentation, including technical writing, <br />analysis, review, and quality control in compliance with both CEQA and NEPA, <br />including the latest changes to CEQA Guidelines and legislation. She been <br />growing her career in environmental document preparation for the last four years, <br />with her project work focusing on Southern California agencies. <br />RELEVANT EXPERIENCE <br />City of Gardena, Gardena Industrial Center Project. Assistant Project <br />Manager. As part of this project, Yliana prepared environmental documentation <br />in the form of an Initial Study Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) for <br />the project which consists of the demolition of all existing on -site buildings, <br />totaling 296,630 square feet of building space, parking lots, and associated <br />improvements and the construction of a 190,860 square foot tilt -up concrete <br />industrial building. Yliana attended the City Council meeting for the project, as <br />the project was approved. <br />San Diego County Department of Parks & Recreation, Calavo Park. <br />Environmental Analyst. Harris assisted with the completion of the topical <br />sections for the project. The project involved the development of a community <br />park on an 8.8-acre, County -owned property in the unincorporated community <br />of Spring Valley in the County. Harris was tasked with preparing the CEQA <br />documentation in the form of an IS/MND for the proposed project. Yliana <br />coordinated with the team to assist in the completion of topical sections for <br />the EI R. <br />Orangethorpe Investment Partners, LLC, Placentia Mixed -Use Project <br />CEQA Documentation Addendum. Assistant Project Manager. Harris is <br />completing the CEQA documentation for the Placentia Mixed -Use Project in <br />the City of Placentia. The proposed project occurs at the corner of Placentia <br />Avenue and Orangethorpe Avenue. The project applicant proposes to develop <br />and operate up to 260 multi -family residential dwelling units and up to 3,000 <br />square feet of commercial retail use. This project would include a parking <br />structure at the northeast corner of the project site, a five -story residential <br />building with amenities including a mail and parcel room, leasing office, fitness <br />area, club room, co -working space, and a central pool courtyard. Yliana <br />worked with the City, the applicant, and legal team to determine the appropriate <br />CEQA documentation for the project. <br />Urban Pacific Development Group, LLC, 12300 Tilbury Townhomes <br />Project. Assistant Project Manager. This project proposed to redevelop the <br />.57-acre site with 13 multifamily housing (mid -rise) dwelling units within two <br />buildings. The maximum lot coverage would be 10,605 square feet (42%) of the <br />25,182 square foot lot area that makes up the project site. The buildings would <br />be three stories at a height of 33 feet and 8 inches.
