<br /> stormwater lift station, install additional security fencing, and deal with unforeseen site
<br /> conditions and unsuitable soil.
<br /> The recommended action will increase the project contingency by $625,000, thereby
<br /> increasing the total estimated construction delivery cost to $6,725,000, as indicated in
<br /> the Cost Analysis (Exhibit 3) and as summarized in the table below:

<br /> FISCAL IMPACT
<br /> As indicated in the Cost Analysis, the total estimated construction delivery cost of the
<br /> project is $6,725,000, which includes the construction contract, contract administration,
<br /> inspection, testing, and an authorized contingency.
<br /> On December 20, 2022, City Council approved $5,600,000 of American Rescue Plan
<br /> Act (ARPA) funding for this project. On April 15, 2024, under City Manager
<br /> authorization, an additional $500,000 was allocated to this project. At this time, an
<br /> additional $625,000 of ARPA funding will be allocated to the contingency and added to
<br /> the FY 2024-25 CIP (Exhibit 4).
<br /> The following table summarizes funds budgeted and available in current FY 2024-25 for
<br /> expenditure to complete construction of this project. Any remaining balances not
<br /> expended at the end of the fiscal year will be presented to City Council for approval of
<br /> carryovers to FY 2025-26.
