RESOLUTION NO. 61-6 APPROVING MAP AND DECLARING <br />INTENTION TO VACATE THAT PORTION OF SUGAR AVENUE <br />LYING WITHIN PROPOSED TRACT NO. 3713 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it appears that that portion of Sugar Avenue lying <br />within proposed Tract No. 3713 should be realigned, and after engineer- <br />ing studies and agreements on exchange of rights of way, the Public <br />Works Department has recommended that that portion cf Sugar Avenue <br />right cf way be vacated where the same lies outside of the new street <br />alignment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby <br /> <br />adopts the map attached hereto and orders that the same be filed with <br /> <br />the original of this Resolution in the office of the Clerk of the <br /> <br />Council, and reference is hereby made to said map for particulars and <br /> <br />exact location and the extent of the rights cf way proposed to be <br /> <br />vacated. The City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate <br /> <br />for street purposes that portion of Sugar Avenue in the City of Santa <br /> <br />Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> That portion of the South 10 acres of the West half of <br />the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section <br />15, in Township 5 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho Las <br />Bolsas, City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of <br />California, as shown on a map recorded in Book 51, Page 12, <br />Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, described <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning at the Southeast corner of said West half; and <br />running thence Westerly along the South line of said West <br />half, a distance of 296.99 feet to the beginning of a curve <br />concave Southwesterly and having a radius of 1042 feet and <br />a radial bearing at the beginning of said curve of North 15° <br />57' 53" East; thence Northwesterly along said curve to an <br />intersection with the North line of the South 20 feet of <br />said West half; thence Easterly along said North line to the <br />East line of said West half; thence Southerly along said <br />East line of said West half, a distance of 20 feet to the <br />point of beginning. Excepting the Easterly 30.00 feet. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That Feb~ 6~ , 1961, at <br /> <br />the hour of 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Third and <br />Main Streets, Santa Ana, California, is hereby fixed as the time and <br />place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to said <br />proposed street vacation. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
