DISCUSSION The Information Services staff, in conjunction with the Planning and Building Agency, has developed a strategy that would provide for the development of a comprehensive database program. This program will be designed to provide for the management and integration of property -related information, such as permit processing and tracking, code enforcement actions, building permit issuances, and other land use activities. The implementation component of the program has been named the Santa Ana Property Information Network (SAPIN) Project. The project team for the SAPIN program will be composed of three current City staff members and five new contract programmers. The subject action will provide modular furniture in order to accommodate the space needs of the project team. This furniture system will be designed to allow for enhanced communication among SAPIN staff during the development, testing and implementation of the program. On February 1, 1-999 the City entered into an agreement with Fullmer Contract Furniture and Services for the purchase and installation of modular furniture systems for the City Hall expansion project. Staff recommends utilizing Fullmer in order to maintain consistent furniture solutions throughout the building. Purchasing the furniture from Fullmer will allow for significant discounts from list prices. 25.D.
