A G R E E M E N T <br />THIS AGREEMENT made and entered. into this 18th day of 1-954, <br />by and between the City of Santa Ana hereinafter referred to as the City, and <br />Robert A. Jordan and H. G. Gooder, hereinafter referred to as Second Parties. <br />W I T N E S S E T 11 : <br />W11FREAS, Second Parties have offered to the City an easement over certain <br />land for street purposes which the City needs in completing their street right, <br />TiM.'REAS, the City desires to accept said offer on certain conditions. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED 'by and between the parties hereto that in con- <br />sideration of Second Parties conveying to -the City an easement over, through and <br />across that certain real. property described as: <br />The West 246.26 feet of the following described property: <br />A strip of land. 60.00 feet in width, being 30.00 feet on each side <br />of the following described center line: Beginning at the point of be- <br />ginning of that certain parcel of 'Land, conveyed to the City of Santa Ana <br />by deed, recorded December 10, 1945, in Book 1370, Page 248, Official <br />Records of Orange County, California, said point of beginning being the <br />intersection of the center line of Sixth Street with the Easterly line <br />of Terminal Street. running from said point of beginning Easterly in a <br />straight line to 'the Western terminus of the center line of Sixth Street <br />as shown on Tract 344, recorded in Book 15, Page 5, Miscellaneous Maps, <br />Records of Orange County, California, <br />for all the purposes of a public street, the City agrees to pave the depressions <br />in the area 'between the curbs on said. property so dedicated, and to bring the same <br />to a useable condition a;fter the City has constructed the now proposed 12 inch <br />water imin through said area. <br />Second Parties further agree that they will at their own proper cost and <br />expense construct a rolled curb as per the specifications furnished by the <br />Engineer's Office, and to the grades provided for them by the Engineer's Office, <br />along and parallel to the center line of said property and 18 feet north thereof' <br />measured at right angles, said curb to extend the fur length of said dedicated <br />property. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of Santa Ana has caused -these presents to 'be <br />Vice <br />executed by its/Mayor and attested by the Clerk of the Council, and the Subdivider <br />has executed these presents the day and year in -this instrument first above written. <br />CITY OF SAN'.VA ANA, <br />ATTEST: <br />
