00� <br />ADDENDUM NO.'I'TO't'O7NSULTANT AGREEMENT <br />o AGREEMENT, made and entered into this <br />THIS ADDENDUM t day of <br />1998, by and between Harper and Associates, Inc., hereinafter referred <br />to as "CONSULTANT", and the City of Santa Ana, a municipal corporation of the State of <br />California, Post Office Box 1988, Santa Ana, California, 92702, hereinafter referred to as <br />"CITY" <br />LTA ► ;I `Ef.Mall <br />Recitals: <br />A. CITY and CONSULTANT have entered into that certain Consultant Agreement <br />("Agreement"), dated September 18, 1997 by which CONSULTANT provided engineering <br />services to assist CITY in designing the re -coating of the interior surfaces of East Reservoir. <br />designing <br />B, CITY desires to retain CONSULTANT to provide quality control inspection services <br />during the re -coating process in addition to work already performed by CONSULTANT. <br />C <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of their mutual and respective promises, and subject to <br />the terms and conditions set forth in the Agreement as hereby amended, the parties do hereby <br />agree as follows: <br />1. CONSULTANT agrees to � provide quality control inspection services for the reservoir <br />C� <br />re -coating project. A detailed description of the required additional services is attached hereto as <br />Exhibit "A" and is incorporated herein by this reference. <br />2. In consideration of the performance of the above quality control services, CITY <br />hereby agrees to increase the total sum payable hereunder, including reimbursable expenses, to <br />an amount not to exceed fifty thousand dollars ($-50,_Q00) for all hours worked, travel and <br />expenses, <br />
