Any contiguous land vested in the same ownership situated <br />entirely within one rancho which has not been secti,on.ized <br />or In one swamp or overflow survey where said land is not <br />divided by any public or private street, highway and/or <br />road. If said land is divided by a public or private <br />street, highway and/or road, each portion or portions thereof <br />so divided shall be deemed to be a separate parcel even though <br />such portion or portions thereof are in the same ownership. <br />D. In connection with a railroad right of way or transit line <br />the parcel definition shall be as follows: <br />1. If the conveyance to the railroad company was fee <br />title without limitation, each separately described <br />parcel so deeded shall be construed as a separate <br />parcel as defined above. <br />2. If the conveyance to the railroad company was a <br />a deed with limitation or an easement only, each <br />separately owned parcel required to be searched <br />abutting the railroad right of way is a separate <br />parcel as defined above. <br />E. The portion of any street or alley adjoining any parcel as <br />above defined, which portion, of said street or alley has <br />not been previously insured. <br />F. Any right of way or easement appurtenant to any land <br />which right of way or easement has not been previously <br />insured. If such easement or right of way crosses <br />more than one ownership, it shall be considered as <br />one parcel if created by one reservation or grant. <br />However, if subsequent reservations or grants are <br />made to others by the original grantor or his heirs, <br />devisees or assigns, each subsequent reservation or grant <br />shall be considered as a separate parcel. <br />Note: No charge will be made on appurtenant easements <br />or rights of way if previously insured and included <br />by the City in an order for a policy covering adjacent <br />land. <br />DTI.
