308 <br />indicating the application of permit parking restrictions except persons and vehicles <br />exempted from such parking restrictions pursuant to Article Xl and this resolution <br />SECTION 5 As indicated by posted signs permit parking restrictions in the South <br />Metro Parking District do not include sections of streets that abut the front of non <br />residential and multifamily uses with more than four dwelling units <br />SECTION 6 Persons entitled to a permit to park in locations subject to permit <br />parking restrictions pursuant to this resolution include and are limited to the following <br />a Any person who is licensed to drive a motor vehicle and who resides <br />in a singlefamily dwelling located in the South Metro Permit Parking <br />District provided that not more than three permits may be issued at <br />any one time to the residents of any one such dwelling unit <br />b Any person who is licensed to drive a motor vehicle and who resides <br />in a multifamily dwelling located on any lot in the South Metro Permit <br />Parking District which does not have more than four dwelling units <br />located on it provided that not more than one permit may be issued at <br />any one time to the resident of anyone such dwelling unit and <br />provided further that the Executive Director of the Public Works <br />Agency may waive the foregoing limitation on the number of dwelling <br />units on a lot if he determines that its application in a particular case <br />would cause extreme hardship on the residents of such dwelling units <br />due to a severe inadequacy of onsite parking <br />SECTION 7 The Executive Director of the Public Works Agency is authorized to <br />establish rules for the issuance of guest parking permits <br />to residents of the South Metro <br />Permit Parking District and to issue or deny such permits in accordance therewith Such <br />rules shall be designed to limit guest parking privileges as appropriate to provide sufficient <br />parking for resident parking permit holders Such rules may be revised from time to time <br />as circumstances require <br />ADOPTED this 18th day of September 2000 <br />AlrEST <br />Patricia E Healy <br />Clerk of the Council <br />Mieel A Pulido <br />Mayor <br />Resolution No 2000062 <br />Page 2 of 3 Exhibit 17 <br />  <br />  <br />City Council 22 – 1112 9/17/2024
