Related Bristol Specific Plan Project <br />Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program <br />Standard Condition/ Plan, Program, Policy / Mitigation Measure/ <br />Condition of Approval <br />Timing <br />Responsible for <br />Ensuring Compliance / <br />Verification <br />Date Completed and <br />Initials <br />• Onsite electrical hook ups to a power grid shall be provided for electric <br />construction tools including saws, drills, and compressors, where <br />feasible, to reduce the need for diesel powered electric generators. <br />Construction contracts shall require all off -road equipment with a <br />power rating below 19 kilowatts (25 horsepower) (e.g., plate <br />compactors, pressure washers, etc.) used during project construction be <br />battery powered. <br />• Prepare a construction traffic control plan detailing the locations of <br />equipment staging areas, material stockpiles, proposed road closures, <br />and hours of construction operations, and designing the plan to <br />minimize impacts to roads frequented by passenger cars, pedestrians, <br />bicyclists, and other non -truck traffic. <br />• Provide information on transit and ridesharing programs and services <br />to construction employees. <br />Mitigation Measure AQ-2: Low VOC Paint (Construction). Construction <br />Prior to issuance of <br />City of Santa Ana Building <br />plans, specifications, and permitting shall require that during construction, the <br />construction permits <br />Safety Division <br />Project shall use "Super -Compliant" low VOC paints which have been <br />related to architectural <br />reformulated to exceed the regulatory VOC limits (i.e., have a lower VOC <br />coatings <br />content than what is required) put forth by SCAQMD's Rule 1113 for all <br />architectural coatings. Super -Compliant low VOC paints shall be no more than <br />1 Og/L of VOC. Prior to issuance of building permits, the City of Santa Ana <br />shall confirm that plans include the following specifications: <br />• All architectural coatings will be Super -Compliant low VOC paints. <br />• Recycle leftover paint. Take any leftover paint to a household <br />hazardous waste center; do not mix leftover water -based and oil - <br />based paints. <br />• Keep lids closed on all paint containers when not in use to prevent VOC <br />emissions and excessive odors. <br />• For water -based paints, clean up with water only. Whenever possible, <br />do not rinse the cleanup water down the drain or pour it directly into <br />City of Santa Ana <br />Final Supplemental EIR <br />August 2024 <br />
