AMENDMENT I JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREEIr T BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND THE COUNTY OF ORANGE F�_THE PURPOSE OF BUILDING AN EDUCATION CENTER ADDITION TO.THE BOWERS MUSEUM THIS AMENDMENT, dated for purposes of identification, this day of , 1978, by and between the CITY OF SANTA ANA, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as "CITY" and the COUNTY OF ORANGE, a political subdivision of the STATE OF CALIFORNIA hereinafter referred to as "COUNTY", to that certain JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREEMENT made and entered into between the parties hereto dated October 22, 1974, as amended Janu- ary 28, 1975. WITNESSETH WHEREAS, CITY and COUNTY, pursuant to California Government Code Section 6500 et seq. have heretofore entered into the above -referenced Agreement dated October 22, 1974, as amended January 28, 1975; and WHEREAS, the parties hereto desire to amend the section of said Agreement pertaining to the encumbrance and disbursal date; NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the benefits to be received by each party as a result of their joint action, the parties hereto agree as follows: 1. Section 7 on Page 4 of that certain JOINT EXFRCISE OF POWERS AGREEMENT dated October 2.2, 1974, as amended January 28, 1975, is hereby amended to read as follows: "All funds received under this Agreement shall be disbursed or encumbered on or Before September 30, 1978_" 2. In all other particulars, said JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREEMENT dated October '22, 1974, as ar-rended January 28, 1975, shall continue to be in full force and effect and is hereby confirmed and ratified in all particulars.
