PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE <br />Proposed contract services will be provided by Mike Linares, Inc. Services <br />will be provided by Mike Linares (Contractor). The Contractor has over <br />fifteen years of experience in the public sector, primarily in the areas of <br />housing, community development, and general government administration. <br />A partial list of clients includes: <br />❑ City of Costa Mesa, Office of the City Manager, Housing Community <br />Development Division <br />❑ City of Buena Park, Economic Development Department <br />❑ Orange County Housing and Community Development Department <br />Additionally, Contractor's professional experience includes employment with <br />the cities of Anaheim, Santa Ana and the County of Orange, California. <br />References are provided upon request. <br />Programs/projects Contractor has administered or managed on behalf of <br />clients include the following: <br />❑ Federal housing and community development program administration <br />(CDBG, HOME, etc.) including preparation of HUD required Consolidated <br />Plans and Annual Action Plans, annual performance reports, IDIS project <br />setup and maintenance. Grant application preparation. <br />❑ Design and administration of residential rehabilitation programs (both <br />single- family and multi -family) utilizing Redevelopment Housing Set - <br />aside, and Federal CDBG and HOME funds. <br />❑ Legislative analysis (federal and state). <br />❑ Citizen participation/outreach. <br />❑ Budget, program and personnel management. <br />❑ English/Spanish translation services. <br />Additionally, the Contractor has experience interacting with elected and <br />community leaders, with public speaking and presentation experience. The <br />Contractor's professional experience is augmented with education - <br />Bachelor of Arts, Political Science and Master Degree in Public <br />Administration. <br />I <br />
