Coast Plaza, we write to request a minor modification to a proposed <br />condition of approval for the Related. Bristol Specific Plan :Project that aligns with the Proj ect's <br />Final Traffic Study. Per our communications with City staff and the Related Bristol applicant <br />team„ South Coast Plaza respectfully requests that Condition of Approval 13.g, of the draft <br />resolution approving the Project's Vesting Tentative Tract Map No 2023-01, be modified to state <br />the following; <br />Sunflower Avenue at Proposed Driveway. Suject to the improvements / <br />realignment of South Coast Plaza driveway and the coordination with the City of <br />Costa Mesa, install new traffic including traffic signal poles, controller cabinet, <br />meter pedestal, conduit, wiring, video detection system; APS, CCTV camera per <br />City specifications, emergency vehicle preemption, signage, and fiber optic <br />communication system to connect to City of Santa Ana traffic signal network and <br />any associated appurtenances as conceptually illustrated in Exhibit Cr, attached. <br />(modifications in italics) <br />South Coast Plaza believes this modification is essential to ensure that all parties, <br />including the City of Santa Ana and City of Costa Mesa,. remain coordinated on proposed <br />improvements. South Coast Plaza looks forward to continued coordination and communication <br />with City staff and the applicant team for the Related Bristol Specific Plan Project.
