NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />BEFORE THE SANTA ANA <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION <br />The City of Santa Ana encourages the public to participate in the decision -making process. We <br />encourage you to contact us prior to the Public Hearing if you have any questions. <br />Historic Resources Commission Action: The Historic Resources Commission will hold a Public <br />Hearing to receive public testimony, and will take action on the item described below. Their decision <br />is final unless appealed to the City Council within 10 days of the decision by any interested party or I <br />group. <br />Proiect Location: 2539 North French Street located within Single Family Residence (R1) <br />zoning district. <br />Proiect Applicant: Francois -Xavier and Raxana Fyad (Applicants & Property Owners) <br />Proiect Description: Applicants are requesting approval of Historic Resources Commission <br />Application (HRCA) No. 2024-06, Historic Register Categorization (HRC) No. 2024-04, and <br />Historic Property Preservation Agreement (HPPA) No. 2024-09 to allow the placement and <br />categorization in the Santa Ana Register of Historical Properties as "Contributive" for the above <br />mentioned property and to execute a Historic Property Preservation Agreements with the City <br />of Santa Ana. <br />Environmental Impact: Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the <br />CEQA Guidelines, the project is exempt from further review under Section 15331, Class 31, as <br />this action is designed to preserve a historic resource.
