We encourage you to <br />contact us prior to the Public Hearing if <br />you have any questions. <br />Historic Resources Commission <br />Action: The Historic Resources <br />Commission will hold a Public Hearing to <br />receive public testimony, and will take <br />action on the item described below. Their <br />decision is final unless appealed to the <br />City Council within 10 days of the decision <br />by any interested party or group. <br />Project Location: 2539 North French <br />Street located within Single Family <br />Residence (R1) zoning district. <br />Project Applicant: Francois -Xavier and <br />Raxana Fyad (Applicants & Property <br />Owners) <br />Project Description: Applicants are <br />requesting approval of Historic Resources <br />Commission Application (HRCA) No. <br />2024-06, Historic Register Categorization <br />(HRC) No. 2024-04, and Historic Property <br />Preservation Agreement (HPPA) No. <br />2024-09 to allow the placement and <br />categorization in the Santa Ana Register <br />of Historical Properties as "Contributive" <br />for the above mentioned property and to <br />execute a Historic Property Preservation <br />Agreements with the City of Santa Ana. <br />Environmental Impact: Pursuant to the <br />California Environmental Quality Act <br />(CEQA) and the CEQA Guidelines, the <br />project is exempt from further review <br />under Section 15331, Class 31, as this <br />action is designed to preserve a historic <br />resource. Notice of Exemption, <br />Environmental Review No. 2024-67 will <br />be filed for this project. <br />Meeting Details: This matter will be <br />heard on Thursday, September 5, 2024, <br />at 4:30 p.m. in the City Council <br />Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa <br />Ana, CA 92701: Members of the public <br />may attend this meeting in -person or <br />join via Zoom.
